The piano is to big for a young child. He likes his piano because it’s the right size.
Maybe because it’s a spinet and not a grand.
He’s a bit overwhelmed at this point.
That toy piano is to Schroeder what the security blanket will be to Linus, a defining part of his identity.
His hands are too small for a real piano.
Right now, Schroeder is just a li’l folk. And li’l folks can only handle things that are as li’l as they are.
AFAIK, that’s as close to a non-toy piano Schroeder gets.
His feet don’t reach the pedals, silly.
He needs his piano Schroeder sized.
