Snoopy sits on the floor watching Charlie Brown and Patty play a board-game. She says, "There's a piece of this puzzle missing..."<BR><BR> As she looks for the piece, Charlie Brown goes up to Snoopy and says, "I'll bet I know where it is...open your mouth, Snoopy...I'm wise to your tricks!"<BR><BR> As Snoopy gags from opening his mouth wide, Charlie Brown urges, "Open wide! Wider!! WIDER!!!" Patty holds her hand out and says, "Here it is, Charlie Brown! It was under the chair..."<BR><BR> Snoopy sits in a huff and says, "Humph!", when Charlie Brown says,"My apologies."<BR><BR>

Definitely. Here are notes from “The complete peanuts, 1950-1952” :p. 179 (April 21, 1952). “Rubbers” is another term for galoshes.
