"C'mon, Lucy, the big race is about to start..." Patty motions Lucy to join her and Charlie Brown, who is on a tricycle. Lucy pulls a little car behind her.<BR><BR> Patty crouches down beside Lucy, who sits on her car. She says, "Now, give it everything you've got...I want to see you beat these boys!" "Lucy plenty speedy!" Lucy announces.<BR><BR> Patty, Lucy, and Schroeder sits on their tricycles in a row. Patty calls, "Get ready! Get set! GO!!"<BR><BR> "Great Scott! A land mine!" cries Charlie Brown as his front wheel gets caught in a sidewalk grating. Schroeder speeds along beside him.<BR><BR> Lucy puffs behnd Schroeder. WHAM! Schroeder crashes into a sign which reads, 'Drive SLowly Children at Play' He cries, "Yipe!" as he tumbles off his bike.<BR><BR> Lucy pants as her bike pats along the street. Patty urges her on, calling, "Come on, Lucy, keep 'er goin'!! You're in the lead!"<BR><BR> Patty jumps up and down and cheers: "THE WINNER!! You won, Lucy! You won!"<BR><BR> Patty bends over to Lucy, who pants and sweats on her bike. Patty says, "It was a hard race, but wasn't it worth it to beat the boys?"<BR><BR> Lucy sits on the curb and holds up her aching and blistered feet: "No, I guess it wasn't ..." Patty admits as she crouches down to look at them.<BR><BR>
