Peanuts by Charles Schulz for February 25, 1953
Transcript:
Lucy stands by the table watching Charlie Brown making a sandwich. She exclaims, "Don't cut it! Don't cut it!! Just fold it over..."

As she grabs a chair, he asks, "What difference does it make?!! Why are you always so fussy?!!" She replies, "Look...sit down here, and I'll try to explain..."

He sits, she stands over him, and starts to explain, "When you cut a bread-an'-butter sandwich, you separate the tiny wheat cells from the leaven and destroy all the results of fermentation! See?"

He looks to the reader, raises his hand, and declares, "I'll never cut another bread-an'-butter sandwich as long as I live!"

I almost expected her to have a powerpoint presentation ready.
