Lucy kneels on the grass: "Is this game you're going to teach me a simple game?" Charlie Brown stands in facing her and answers, "It's as simple as you are, Lucy.."<br> <br> She sits back. "Now you just sit there where you are and I'll move down the sidewalk a little way..." Charlie Brown points behind him.<br> <br> "What do I do, Charlie Brown?" As he walks away, he responds, "Just roll your marble at mine...If you hit it, you win if you miss, you lose..."<br> <br>They sit facing each other. "Are we playing for keeps?" "Of course we're playing for 'keeps'! C'MON...ROLL!"<br> <br> CLINK! Lucy throws the marble and it bounces down the block towards Charlie Brown.<br> <br> Lucy runs towards Charlie Brown: "I HIT IT! IT HIT IT! Did you see me, Charlie Brown? I HIT IT!" Charlie Brown grimaces and closes his eyes.<br> <br> Charlie Brown stands and shrungs: "All right! All right! So you hit it...You were sitting too close...We'll call that one a practice roll.."<br> <br> "I'll show you I'm a good sport by giving you another shot.." Charlie Brown says as he walks away.<br> <br> CHarlie Brown sits around the corner from Lucy, a long way away. "Okay..let 'er go!" Lucy, all the way in the distance is surprised: "!"<br> <br>
