"Chmo chomp chomp." Charlie Brown stands in the street ands chews on a hot dog. Snoopy sits at his feet, watching him.<br> <br> "Chomp chomp." Charlie Brown chews.<br> <br> He tosses the scrap to Snoopy and offers, "Here, Snoopy..you can have the rest.."<br> <br> As the food comes towards him Snoopy thinks, "'The rest'...That's the way it always is...I get the leftovers.."<br> <br> The food comes closer. Snoopy thinks, "I'll bet there isn't even any hot dog left in there..probably just the ends of the bun.."<br> <br> Snoopy's mouth parts: "They always act like they're doing you such a big favor, too...Huh..some favor..."<br> <br> "GULP!" Snoopy swallows the piece of food.<br> <br> He trots off, thinking "It's funny how much can pass through your mind between the toss and the gulp.."<br> <br>
