Lucy gives a statue to Schroeder as he sits at the piano. She says, "Look, Schroeder..I found another statue of Beethoven.."

He looks at it and exclaims, "This isn't Beethoven! This is George Washington again!"

She looks at the statue and says, "Well, I'll be! They sure look a lot alike..."

She asks, "Do you suppose they could have been related?" He looks at the reader.

I’m sure the way they looked alike to Lucy anyway, was the similar clothing and the similar hairlines or hairstyles, of Washington’s and Beethoven’s respective eras.
