"You never give up, do you, Charlie Brown?" Lucy asks. She stands behind Charlie Brown, who kneels on the ground, preparing his kite. "Nope!" he replies.<br> <br> "Why should I?" He stands and holds the kite.<br> <br> "I'm going to get this kite up in the air if it kills me!" Lucy holds the kite while Charlie Brown adjusts it.<br> <br> Lucy lets go of the kite as Charlie Brown runs. The kite soars into the air.<br> <br> "AAGH!" Lucy covers her mouth as she sees what is happening...<br> <br> "OOOO!" Lucy covers her eyes and shrinks back.<br> <br> "AAGGHH!" Lucy turns her back and cowers.<br> <br> "ARGHRRG" Lucy kneels on the ground as she hears this, covering her eyes.<br> <br> Lucy sits up as Charlie Brown gasps and sighs.<br> <br> Lucy runs. <br> <br> "Don't say anything..just go get a scissors!" Charlie Brown says. Lucy looks at him, tangled up in string and suspended betweenn several trees, as in a cat's cradle.<br> <br>
I’ve often heard “go get the scissors” and sometimes “go get a pair of scissors” but never “go get a scissors”
