"Well!" Lucy stands in the living room, reading the newspaper.<br> <br> She runs along, carrying the paper.<br> <br> "Look, Schroeder..they printed my letter in the paper.." Lucy lies in front of the piano and holds the paper up to Schroeder. He plays the piano.<br> <br> She sits with her back to him and reads: "'Dear Agnes, I am in love with a boy who doesn't even know I am alive.'"<br> <br> "All he ever seems to think of is his stupid piano and his stupid ol' Beethoven!" Schroeder looks up. Lucy looks at him out of the corner of her eye.<br> <br> Schroeder fowns. Lucy continues, "'Can you give me any advice?'"<br> <br> KLUNK! Schroeder tilts the piano so that Lucy topples onto the floor.<br> <br> Lucy lies on her back and concludes, "And here's her answer...'Dear Lucy,...Never fall in love with a musician.' Hmm...I kind of expected that..."<br> <br>
The greatest advice Lucy was ever given, and she can’t take it. Sigh.
