Linus and Charlie Brown are walking on the grass pass the the hydrant. Linus says, "Kindergarten is as far as I'm going to go!"<br> <br> He grimaces and continues, "As soon as I'm through with kindergarten, I'm going to drop out of school."<br> <br> They stand next to the fence and he continues, "As far as I'm concerned, that's it!"<br> <br> He walks off exclaiming, "There's nothing that can harm a person more than too much formal education!" Charlie Brown looks at the reader.<br> <br>
Linus will later on skip a grade, causing him to be in CB’s class. That’s the most logical explanaition.
