Snap! Linus sits on the floor, playing with something. Lucy stands over him: "?"<br> <br> "YOU BROKE ALL MY CRAYONS IN HALF!" She shrieks. The floor is covered in broken crayons.<br> <br> "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?" Lucy throws up her arms. "No, I don't think so...Of course, I haven't taken any actual intelligence tests lately so I.." Linus looks up at her thoughtfully.<br> <br> "YOU'RE GOING TO DRIVE ME CRAZY!!" Lucy screams, grabbing Linus and shaking him by the collar.<br> <br> She drags him down the hall.<br> <br> She picks up a small bottle from a countertop.<br> <br> "Here! NOW GET TO WORK!!!" Lucy tosses Linus the bottle and sends him tumbling back to the floor as she lets go of him.<br> <br> "Have you ever tried to glue crayons together?" Linus looks up from his work as Charlie Brown appears in front of him.<br> <br>
If you go into the earlier peanuts, there is a comic where Lucy “breaks in” his crayons. She does that by taking off their labels and snapping them in half. So why does she complain about him “ breaking in” her crayons?
