Snoopy slithers along in the grass on his stomach. <br> <br> Linus sits on a chair on the ground, holding his blanket and sucjking his thumb. <br> <br> WHAM! Snoopy races past, tugging the blanket with his teeth. <br> <br> Linus sits in the chiar and tugs at one end of the blanket. Snoopy holds the other. <br> <br> Linus looks up as Snoopy sails into the air, still tugging the blanket. <br> <br> They tug. <br> <br> Snoopy flies into the air again; Linus continues to hold on. <br> <br> They each tug at the blanket. <br> <br> "What a struggle..it took me forty-five minutes to land him!" Linus remarks to Charlie Brown. Linus clutches his blanket and clasps Snoopy to his side. <br> <br>
Presumably an “Old Man and the Sea” reference.
