"Fantastic! And yet..." Charlie Brown stands outside and looks up. <br> <br> He ponders: "Somehow she doesn't seem quite herself... just not the same ol' Lucy..." <br> <br> "I WANNA WATCH MY PROGRAM! I WANNA GO SWIMMING!" Lucy hollers in front of the TV set. <br> <br> "You said I could have some orange juice!" She throws herself onto the floor. <br> <br> "I don't want orange juice! I want grape juice!" She pounds the floor. <br> <br> "Rats." Lucy sits up. <br> <br> She and Charlie Brown face each other. Lucy explains: "I've lost it, Charlie Brown! I'm just not the fussbudget I used to be! I just can't do it anymore! I used to be able to fuss for hours...Now I get tired." <br> <br> Lucy moans: "I don't have any volume, I don't have any tone, I don't have the feel of it anymore. I've lost it! I've lost it! It's gone!" Charlie Brown stands in the background and watches her. <br> <br> "It's kind of sad to see a great talent like that deteriorate," Charlie Brown notes as he stands in profile. <br> <br> "I guess that's just one of those things that happen, though..especially in a creative field!" Charlie Brown decides as he walks past the fence <br> <br> "I DON'T WANNA TAKE A NAP! I WANNA PLAY OUTSIDE!!" Lucy stands in the living room and wails. <br> <br> "I got it licked now, Charlie Brown! I got it licked!" Lucy runs up to Charlie Brown. <br> <br> "From now I use a 'throat-mike'!" she explains to him. <br> <br>
Now Lucy can go on a fussbudget world tour and fuss in front of packed stadium audiences!
