Snoopy lies on his doghouse looking at a snowman and thinks, "Please try to understand . . ." Snoopy sighs.<BR><BR> Snoopy thinks, "You're a fine fellow, but I can't risk your friendship . . ."<BR><BR> Snoopy thinks, "Every time I become close friends with one of these snowmen the sun melts him away, and I'm left broken hearted."<BR><BR> Snoopy continues, "I can't stand the agony . . . The terrible sense of loss . . . I've been hurt too often . . ."<BR><BR> Snoopy continues, "Although, I will admit you have been a good neighbor . . . You look quite handsome with your coal eyes and carrot nose . . ."<BR><BR> Snoopy leans against the snowman and thinks, "Oh well, one can't deliberately avoid friendships I guess . . ."<BR><BR> Snoopy thinks, "You can't keep to yourself just because you're afraid of being hurt or . . ."<BR><BR> Snoopy ears stand on end as the sun shines brightly.<BR><BR> Snoopy sobs as he clutches the melting snowman.<BR><BR> Linus and Charlie Brown watch from the window. Linus says, "Poor Snoopy . . . I see he's lost another friend . . . It's too bad . . . He's so sensitive." Charlie Brown says, "Uh huh . . . But I notice he wasn't too sensitive to eat the carrot.<BR><BR>
