"There..that's about right.." Lucy says as she kneels on the ground, holding the football out in front of her. Charlie Brown stands next to her.<BR><BR> "That's about right, isn't it?" she asks him.<BR><BR> "Okay, Charlie Brown...I'll hold the ball, and you come running up, and kick it..." Lucy offers. Charlie Brown stares at the ball.<BR><BR> "I can't believe it! I can't believe that anyone would think I was so completely stupid!" Charlie Brown rolls his eyes.<BR><BR> "I won't pull it away like I usually do...I promise!" Lucy pleads. "Ha! I know your promises!" Charlie Brown answers as he walks away.<BR><BR> "Look...we'll shake on it, okay? Let's shake on it...This proves my sincerity..." They shake hands.<BR><BR> "What could I do? If someone is willing to shake on something you have to trust her." He walks away.<BR><BR> He runs.<BR><BR> AAUGH! Charlie Brown wails as Lucy pulls the football away, sending him flying into the air.<BR><BR> WUMP! He lands on his back. [PANEL 11]: Lucy stands over Charlie Brown and explains, "A woman's handshake is not legally binding!"<BR><BR>
Infallible test: have her put it in writing. She couldn’t break her word if it’s in writing: just see how she will refuse to sign the paper. He can drag her before the magistrate if she does break her word. His attorney, of course, being Snoopy.
