Transcript:
Linus sits in a chair and says to Charlie Brown, "Lucy volunteered me to sing 'Jingle Bells' at the PTA Christmas program . . ."<BR><BR> Linus frets and says, "I can't sing in public! I'm a terrible singer! I never have been able to sing!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown says, "Don't worry about it . . . In Psalm 98 we read, 'Make a joyful noise unto the Lord.'"<BR><BR> Linus screams, "It's the PTA!!" Charlie Brown tumbles.<BR><BR>
As I have often said, this scripture says nothing about making a beautiful noise unto the Lord, just a joyful one. Not sure, however, that the Lord is all that taken with “Jingle Bells.”
