Lucy sits at a table. With her sore arm she writes: "To the A.M.A.- Gentlemen, This is a letter of protest written with a sore arm."<BR><BR> "Yesterday I went to one of your doctors, and he said I have washer woman's elbow."<BR><BR> "Now, I ask you. Is that any sort of ailment for a future Miss America?" Lucy reads what she has written.<BR><BR> "Get on the ball! Sincerely, Lucy Van Pelt."<BR><BR>
Okay, it is unfair that they diagnosed it as “Little Leaguer’s Elbow” with CB and then called it “Washer Woman’s Elbow” with Luce. After all, she got her injury in baseball as well! (I realize that isn’t exactly the complaint she’s making, but as long as we’re on the subject.)
