Charlie Brown stands on the pitcher's mound. Frieda says, "Why, Charlie Brown!" You cut down all the dandelions!"

Charlie Brown shouts, "Yes, I cut down all the dandelions! This is a pitcher's mound, not a flower garden!"

Frieda turns to Lucy and says, "Speaking of flower gardens, I'll bet a circle of daffodils would look nice around this mound, don't you think so?"

Lucy says, "Oh yes, very nice . . . or even some Marigolds . . . " Charlie Brown says, "I can't stand it!"

Frieda shouldn’t be too upset. In my experience, if all Charlie Brown did was cut the dandelions down, as opposed to uprooting them, they’ll be back — and pretty darned fast.
