"Thank you," Charlie Brown says to Lucy as she pours something into one of the two glasses on the table. "You're welcome," Lucy responds.<BR><BR> Lucy turns around to call: "Bring your root beer in here, Charlie Brown. We'll sit and watch TV." Snoopy sniffs at the glass in her hand.<BR><BR> "YOU SNIFFED IN MY ROOT BEER!" Lucy exclaims. Snoopy's ears fly up.<BR><BR> "YOUR STUPID DOG SNIFFED IN MY ROOT BEER!!" She hollers, and thrusts the glass at Charlie Brown.<BR><BR> "Look at that! I'll bet it's full of dog germs!" She declares, holding the cup up for inspection. Snoopy sits next to her.<BR><BR> She stalks off: "Where's my binoculars?" she demands. "Binoculars?" thinks Snoopy.<BR><BR> "AH, HA! I THOUGHT SO!!" Lucy announces. She is bent over, examining a plate.<BR><BR> "See? I poured a little root beer in this saucer and examined it with my binoculars...It's full of dog germs!" Lucy holds the saucer out to Charlie Brown.<BR><BR> "I guess the whole business is my fault, Snoopy...I've never discussed etiquette with you..." Charlie Brown says as they walk outside.<BR><BR> "There's one thing you should never do...Never sniff in your hostess's root beer!" Charlie Brown shakes his finger at Snoopy. [PANEL 11]: "I'll remember that..." Snoopy thinks. [PANEL 12]: Snoopy lies on top of his doghouse. He thinks, "Next time I'll bit her leg!"<BR><BR>
