"Boy, what a line of kids!" Charlie Brown says as he walks.<BR><BR> He stands between Violet and Lucy, who says, "Have you been here long, Charlie Brown?" "No, I just got here.." Charlie Brown responds.<BR><BR> Linus is at the front of the line; he holds money up to the counter. "Fourteen hundred and ninety-seven.." comes the voice from the ticket booth. "Actually, I shouldn't be going to the movies at all..I have homework to do..."<BR><BR> "If it weren't for the fact that they're giving away candy bars to the first fifteen hundred kids, I wouldn't even be here!" "Fourteen hundred and ninety-eight.." says the voice from behind the counter as Five holds out his money.<BR><BR> "Do you mind if I get ahead of you, Charlie Brown?" Lucy asks.<BR><BR> "No, please do...'Ladies First' is always my motto..." Charlie Brown smiles as Lucy passes in front of him.<BR><BR> "I don't think this is a very good movie..I just came because of the free candy bars for the first fifteen hundred kids.." "Fourteen hundred and ninety-nine..." says the voice at the counter to Violet.<BR><BR> "I really should be home doing my reading, but you know how it is when they're giving something away free.." Charlie Brown adds to Lucy's back. The voice announces, "Fifteen hundred!"<BR><BR> "FIFTEEN HUNDRED?" says Charlie Brown. "Sorry, kid...that's the way it goes..." consoles the voice behind the ticket booth.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown slumps against the booth. He groans, "I can't stand it...I just can't stand it...."<BR><BR>
Hunh. Never saw one of the ticket takers talk before.
