Lucy is standing. She says, "What are you hanging around the house for?"<BR><BR> Linus and Lucy face each other. "I'm afraid," Linus explains. "Afraid?!"<BR><BR> "I'm afraid to go outside..there's a vulture sitting on my snowman!"<BR><BR> They stand at the window and look. Linus raises his arms: "See?" "Well, he won't be sitting there very long the way the sun is shining..."<BR><BR> Lucy stands looking up at the top of the snowman. Snoopy glares back at her. The sun shines brightly.<BR><BR> The snowman melts a little. Snoopy lifts his eyebrows.<BR><BR> Lucy glares at Snoopy, who is now practically at eye level.<BR><BR> Snoopy smiles.<BR><BR> "Stupid beagle!" Lucy says as she walks away. Snoopy leans against the very small pile of snow and thinks, "We vultures have a hard life..."<BR><BR>
That might be the most intense staring contest I’ve ever witnessed.
