Charlie Brown sits on the ground and leans against the mailbox post. Snoopy sits on Charlie Brown with a stack of valentines. Snoopy looks at a valentine and thinks, "And I got a valentine from Joyce and I got one from Peggy."<BR><BR> Snoopy continues to think, "And I got one from Zelma, and Janell, and Boots, and Pat, and Sydney, and Winnie, and Jean, and Rosemary, and Courtney, and Fern, and Meredith . . ."<BR><BR> Snoopy thinks, "And Amy, and Jill, and Betty, and Marge, and Kay, and Frieda, and Annabelle, and Sue, and Eva, and Judy, and Ruth . . ."<BR><BR> Snoopy continues, "And Barbara, and ol' Helen, and Ann, and Jane, and Dorothy, and Margaret, and . . ." Charlie Brown frowns and says, "I can't stand it . . . I just can't stand it . . ."<BR><BR>
And the only person he mentions who’s actually a character in the strip is Frieda in panel 3.
