A bird looks up at Snoopy. Snoopy carries a sign that reads, "Watch this space for special announcement."<BR><BR> Snoopy carries a sign that reads, "This is is!"<BR><BR> Snoopy holds a sign that reads, "This is national dog week." Lucy stands next to Lucy and says, "It is? Well! I'm very happy for you."<BR><BR> Lucy continues, "You dogs perform a great service to mankind, and you deserve a special week . . . Dogs are faithful, and true, and a tribute like this is the very least that we can do for them!"<BR><BR> Snoopy and Lucy shake hands. Lucy says, "I hope you have a very good week . . ."<BR><BR> Lucy asks, "Is there anything special I can do for you?"<BR><BR> Snoopy puckers his lips and leans over for a kiss.<BR><BR> Snoopy lies on the ground dazed. He thinks, "I always overdo it . . ."<BR><BR>
Just ONE STEP too far, Snoopy. Lesson learned, on his part: if a crabby person asks you if there’s anything special you want them to do for you, tell them,“No, that’s OK,” so as not to risk getting BELTED. ESPECIALLY if you ask them for a kiss, much less.
