Linus sits in a chair backstage. Lucy asks, "Do you know what you're going to say?" Linus replies, "Of course, I know what I'm going to say."<BR><BR> Lucy pulls the curtain to the side and says, "Okay, you're on!"<BR><BR> Linus walks on stage and says, "The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the sone of Abraham."<BR><BR> Linus continues, "Abraham begat Isaac and Isaac begat Jacob, and Jacob begat Judas and his bretharian, and Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar, and Phares begat Esrom, and Esrom begat Aram . . ."<BR><BR> Linus says, ". . And Jesse begat David the king, and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Uras, and Solomon begat Roboam, and Roboam begat Aba, and Aba begat Asa . . ."<BR><BR> Linus continues, ". . And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ, so all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations . . ."<BR><BR> Linus says, "How the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise . . ."<BR><BR> Linus walks by Lucy. Lucy asks, "Why didn't you just start with the first chapter of genesis while you were at it?" Linus replies, "Don't be sarcastic . . 'Tis the season to be jolly!"<BR><BR>
