Snoopy lies on top of his doghouse. His stomach growls.<BR><BR> Snoopy thinks, "I'm hungry."<BR><BR> "My head was sound asleep, but my stomach was wide awake..." Snoopy lies on his stomach and leans his head over the front of the doghouse.<BR><BR> Snoopy sits up and thinks, "It's midnight, and I'm starving to death, and there's no way for me to get a little snack."<BR><BR> He faces off to one side and thinks, "If I were a stupid cat, I could go out and catch a mouse."<BR><BR> Snoopy lies on his back and thinks, "My stomach needs a sleeping room... No, my head needs a sleeping pill and my stomach needs a snack..."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown, wearing pajamas, walks up carrying a supper dish. Snoopy lies on his stomach and watches him.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown walks away. Snoopy stares at him.<BR><BR> Snoopy thinks, "Now, how in the world did he know I was hungry?"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown lies in bed with his eyes closed. He says, "Who can sleep with all that mumbling going on?"<BR><BR>
Mumbling? Has chuck finally snapped? Is he hearing snoopy thoughts?
