Snoopy and Woodstock sit on the ground. Snoopy has a rope tied around his neck. Charlie Brown runs toward him and says, "Snoopy!! What are you doing here?!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown unties Snoopy and asks, "Why were you tied up? What happened to you? I thought you had gone south . . ."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown says, "You were only two blocks from home . ." Snoopy thinks, "Two blocks? We were gone for a week and we only got two blocks from home?"<BR><BR> Snoopy and Woodstock play hockey on the birdbath. Snoopy thinks, "Well . . We'll have to look at it this way . . . If we had found our way south, we probably would have missed the hockey season . ."<BR><BR>
Obviously it was a circuitous route they took, as they made it to Peppermint’s Patty’s neighborhood but at some point started circling back almost to where they started. Snoopy was able to make his way to other destinations like the puppy farm, but he couldn’t maintain a southerly route?
