Lucy holds up a sign which reads, "Power to my kind"<BR><BR> Lucy stands behind Charlie Brown, who looks at the pitcher's mound. He announces, "This is the moment I wait for all winter long..."<BR><BR> Standing on top, in Charlie Brown continues, "It's a strange feeling when you walk onto the mound for the first time each spring.."<BR><BR> Lucy, in close-up profile, asks, "That sort of gives you a feeling of power, eh, Charlie Brown?"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown puts his hand under his chin and says, "Oh, no, it's more a feeling of...it's kind of hard to describe.." Lucy says, "I'd think it would be a feeling of power.."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown looks down at Lucy and explains: "No, I think it's more a feeling of newness...after all, it's a new season and a new ball game...it's that kind of feeling.." "Not power?" asks Lucy.<BR><BR> CHarlie Brown opens his arms and adds, "It's also a feeling of being part of a great tradition." Lucy comments, "I should think there's be sort of a feeling of power."<BR><BR> They are in silhouette for this panel, and in profile: Charlie Brown says, "I think it's something that has to be experienced." Lucy asks, "Let me try...will you let me try?"<BR><BR> They change places. Lucy, on top of the mound, exclaims, "Oh, yes, I see what you mean!"<BR><BR> "It gives you a feeling of power!" She bares her teeth. Charlie Brown sighs.<BR><BR>
