Charlie Brown and Lucy stand in the outfield. Lucy says, "You don't care about all the games we lose, do you, Charlie Brown?"

Lucy frowns and continues, "Well, I'll have you know that I spend a lot of time out here in center field, and most of it is spent crying . . ."

Lucy points to the ground and says, "See? The grass is extra green all around this spot where I stand and water it with my tears . . ."

Charlie Brown walks away and says, "That's very touching . . ."

There’s probably not enough salt in tears to bother grass. Stupid stuff grows everywhere, it’s really a weed with good PR.
