Lucy and Snoopy stand in the grass and wear a baseball caps. Lucy says, "I hope that Hank Aaron will break Babe Ruth's home-run record . . ."<BR><BR> Lucy points at Snoopy and continues, "Hank Aaron is a great player . . . But you! If you break Babe Ruth's record, it'll be a disgrace!"<BR><BR> Snoopy begins to walk away. Lucy shouts, "You're not even human!"<BR><BR> Snoopy turns around and kisses Lucy. He thinks, "That's a point in my favor, sweetie!"<BR><BR>
On April 8, 1974, eight months after this strip was released, Hank Aaron hit his 715th home run during a Braves-Dodgers game, beating Babe Ruth’s record.
