I'd like to transfer temporarily to your school . . ."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty continues, "My dad is out of town, you see, and I'm staying in Chuck's guest cottage so I'll be going to this school for awhile if you'll have me . . . Okay?"<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty says, "I'm no great scholar, you understand, but I'm always in there trying . . ."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty says, "If it's 'True or false' or 'Multiple choice,' I'll be in there with the best of 'em!"<BR><BR>
Okay, I know Schulz chose not show adults in his comics, but some of this stuff makes it seem like these kids have no parents. Patty’s Dad ought to have taken care of this, just as Charlie Brown should not have to schedule his own doctor’s appointments. suspension of disbelief is getting a little difficult.
