Rerun rides on the back of the bike and says, "This is the part of our ride that I hate . . ."<BR><BR> Rerun looks down and grits his teeth. He says, "Every day this big stupid German shepherd comes running out and chases our bicycle!"<BR><BR> Rerun takes off his shoe and throws it. He says, "He doesn't quit until I throw my shoe at him . . ."<BR><BR> Rerun continues, "I'm running out of shoes!"<BR><BR>
I always misunderstood this strip as a child…I didn’t know a German shepherd was a kind of dog! I pictured an actual shepherd, from Germany…I thought it was a strange strip!
