Peppermint Brown says to Charlie Brown: "We're the home team, Chuck, so you guys bat first, and we'll take the field.." She gestures with her gloved hand.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown stands behind Snoopy, who hols a bat. Charlie Brown directs him: "Okay, Snoopy, you're our lead-off batter...let's start things off big..."<BR><BR> Snoopy stands in batting position. We hear Charlie Brown add: "But look out for Peppermint Patty...she's a good pitcher!"<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty stands on the pitcher's mound in wind-up position. She shouts, "Here we go! The first pitch of the season! I love baseball!"<BR><BR> BONK!! Snoopy is tossed backwards into the air.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown approaches Peppermint Patty on the mound. Snoopy, looking dazed, is behind him. Charlie Brown demands: "What kind of a game are you playing?! You beaned my best player!"<BR><BR> As Charlie Brown and Snoopy walk away, Peppermint Patty explains: "I didn't do it on purpose, Chuck...he was crowding the plate...I was just trying to brush him back!" Charlie Brown answers, "Forget it! I'm taking my team home!"<BR><BR> A close up of Peppermint Patty, who hollers: "YOU CAN'T FORFEIT THE GAME, CHUCK!" [PANEL 9]: She adds, "YOU GO HOME, YOU LOSE! DON'T FORFEIT THE GAME, CHUCK!"<BR><BR> PANEL 10: Marcie stands behind Peppermint Patty, who sits on the mound as she moans: "I'm disgraced! Winning a game from Chuck's team by forfeit is the most degrading thing that can happen to a manager!"<BR><BR> PANEL 11: Marcie suggests, "Maybe you could forfeit the forfeit, Sir.." Peppermint Patty snaps, "Stop calling me 'Sir'!"<BR><BR>
