Charlie Brown is asleep in his bed: "Z"<BR><BR> RINGG!! Charlie Brown 's eyes are open.<BR><BR> Standing in the hall, he picks up the phone. "Hello?"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown stands in profile and says, "Really? Gosh, I'm sorry. I apologize...yes, I'll check on him right away...I'm very sorry..."<BR><BR> Sally walks up. She asks, "What's the matter, big brother?" Charlie Brown explains, "The neighbors...they said my dog has kept them awake all night..."<BR><BR> In silhouette, they jump off the doorstep, running towards the doghouse. Sally asks, "Has he been barking? Has he been howling?" Charlie Brown says, "No..."<BR><BR> No longer in silhouette, they look up at the Literary Ace, who is busy at his typewriter. Charlie Brown says, "..Typing!"<BR><BR>
It was a dark and sleepless night. . .
