Charlie Brown stands on the pitcher's mound in the pouring rain. The entire field around him is covered with water.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown looks down and seems confused.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown looks all around and seems confused.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown sits down and says, "Good grief!! I'm floating out to sea!"<BR><BR>
Strangely, this reminds of Representative Hank Johnson, of Georgia’s 4th district, who feared that stationing 8,000 Marines on the island of Guam would cause the island to capsize. Islands don’t capsize, and pitcher’s mounds cannot float away carrying small children with it. I guess Charlie Brown’s irrepressible bad luck defies even the laws of physics.
