Snoopy follows Woodstock up a grassy slope; the latter is holding a flower. At the top, Snoopy thinks,"You know, you could sit here for the rest of your life waiting for you mom to fly by...."<BR><BR> He spreads his hands and thinks,"She could be in Anchorage, or in the Caribbean, or in Duluth for all you know...."<BR><BR> Woodstock jumps in fright as Snoopy thinks,"Or maybe she's in a bird cage somewhere and...."<BR><BR> As Woodstock cries, Snoopy, in alarm, thinks,"OH, I DIDN'T MEAN IT! CUT OUT MY TONGUE!!"<BR><BR> He continues,"FORGET I SAID IT!! FORGET I SAID IT!!"<BR><BR> As Woodstock sniffs, Snoopy hugs him and thinks,"There, there, little friend...don't cry....don't cry...your mom's not in a bird cage....don't cry...."<BR><BR> They sit side by side and Snoopy thinks,"We'll just sit here together until your mom flies by, and then you can give her the flower..."<BR><BR> Snoopy grimaces and thinks,"Who invents these stupid holidays anyway?!"<BR><BR>
