Charlie Brown stands on the pitcher's mound and winds up. Lucy approaches with a notepad and says, "I have another question for you about violence in sports . . ."<BR><BR> Lucy asks, "In all the games you've played, have you ever been the victim of a cheap shot?"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown replies, "My dad says if I thought about school as much as I think about baseball, I'd be at the head of my class."<BR><BR> Lucy walks away and writes on the notepad. She says, "Pretty cheap shot there, dad!"<BR><BR>
I doubt that. He thinks a lot about baseball and yet look at how his team is doing. Then again, in schoolwork he doesn’t have to deal with lousy left fielders, so there’s that…
