Sally sits at the table, with a pencil in her mouth, contemplating. Charlie Brown is walking down the hallway.

He sits next to her as she writes,"Deer" She looks up as he says,"That should be 'Deer'."

As she bends over the paper, he continues,"In the salutation of a letter, the proper word and spelling of that word is 'Dear'."

He shudders as she writes,"Deer are beautiful animals found in most parts of the world."

She looks up with a haughty expression as he says,"I'm sorry...I didn't realize you were writing about deer...I apologize..."

He blushes and walks away as she exclaims,"Well, I should hope so! It seems to me that a lot of the problems in this world are caused by people who criticize other people before they know what they're talking about!"

She lifts up the paper and gives his retreating back a sidelong glance. She tosses the paper over her shoulder.

She starts writing,"Dear Grandma,"

And the rest of the problems are from people too proud to admit they were wrong.
