Peppermint Patty is sitting on the grass; she says,"I've been worried about this for a long time." She leans her head on one side of a tree, whiles Charlie Brown leans his head on the other side. She says,"Let me ask you something..."<BR><BR> She asks,"Chuck, do you think a girl who is ugly has as much chance for happiness as a girl who's beautiful?"<BR><BR> He replies,"Of course! For one thing, you have a nice personality, and..."<BR><BR> She looks back at him and says,"What makes you think I was talking about myself, Chuck?"<BR><BR> She continues,"Trapped you, didn't I, Chuck?"<BR><BR> She leans her head back again and says,"That's all right...it was a dirty trick...actually, I guess I really was talking about myself so what you were saying was probably true..."<BR><BR> She sits up, looks at him, and asks,"But what made you think I was talking about myself, Chuck?" He lies on the ground and sighs.<BR><BR>
People say “you” just as an example, they dont actually mean you specifically, they just say it for the conversation. Or, maybe Chuck knows you well enough to know you were talking about yourself
