Linus sits in his bedroom on the floor, with his cap nearby, putting on his shoes and socks. He says,"Good Grief, I'll never make it..." He runs along outside, with his tongue sticking out, wearing his baseball cap and mitt.<BR><BR> He runs between some houses.<BR><BR> He runs up to Charlie Brown standing atop the pitcher's mound. He asks,"I'm sorry I'm late, Charlie Brown...is the game over?" Charlie Brown replies,"Not quite..."<BR><BR> He continues,"We're behind sixty-three to nothing."<BR><BR> He continues,"I'm afraid it's all over but the shouting...."<BR><BR> Lucy, standing on the baseball field, screams.<BR><BR> Linus and Charlie Brown look towards her and the latter concludes,"Now, it's over."<BR><BR>
The fat lady has sung.
