Woodstock sits on a mound that hold numerous signs. They read,'This is Mother's Day', 'Mom?', 'Hey, Mom, where are you?'.

He sits next to Snoopy atop the doghouse. The latte thinks,"Maybe if you had a photograph or something."

He thinks,"You know what aggravates me?" He spreads his hands and continues,"It's the whole system that you birds have....no wonder you're unhappy!"

Snoopy continues,"Your mother and father build the nest, you guys are born, and then everyone leaves...."

He thinks,"That has to be the dumbest system I've ever heard of!" He raises his hands and thinks,"How are you going to find your mom? She could be almost anywhere!"

They jump down from atop the doghouse and Snoopy thinks,"I'll tell you what we'll do...if you can't find your mom, why don't we at least pay a little visit to the tree where you were born?"

As they walk along, he thinks,"It's called, 'Returning to the ol' Homestead'." He continues,"Maybe seeing the tree where you were born will make you feel a little better...."

Snoopy rolls his eyes and grimaces as Woodstock grabs him around the legs and starts sobbing, after looking at the tree which is now a stump. Snoopy thinks,"I can't stand it!"
