Charlie Brown kneels in front of the tv, changing channels.<BR><BR> As he sits on a footstool, Sally walks up behind him and asks, "What are you watching big brother?" He replies, "Carl Sagan....he's a famous astronomer.."<BR><BR> She sits next to him and exclaims, "He sure knows a lot, doesn't he? He knows a lot more than you!"<BR><BR> She says, "You'll never be that smart."<BR><BR> She continues, "I'll bet he knows twice as much as you!"<BR><BR> She concludes, "I'd say that compared to him, big brother, you don't know anything."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown leaves. He joins Linus outside. Linus asks, "What have you been doing, Charlie Brown?" He replies, "I've been watching a science program..."<BR><BR> They walk along and Linus asks, "Did you learn anything?" Charlie Brown replies, "Sure, I learned what my sister thinks of me."<BR><BR>
This insulting tone has been thankfully missing from the strip for a long while. Hopefully it won’t come back.
