Lucy watches Linus struggle. Linus says, "I have a sliver in my finger, and I can't get it out."<BR><BR> Lucy says, "No problem . . I'll find a pair of tweezers, and we'll have it out in no time . . ."<BR><BR> Lucy holds a pair of tweezers and says, "Okay, here we go . . ."<BR><BR> Linus turns away from Lucy and shouts, "That's close enough!!"<BR><BR>
I think my wife enjoys getting slivers out of me. She uses a needle, and just digs until I tell her to STOP! I don’t recall her ever really getting one out.
