Marcie and Peppermint Patty sit at their desks in school. Peppermint Patty turns around and says, "You look tired, Marcie."<BR><BR> Marcie wears her glasses on her head and closes her eyes. She replies, "I am, sir . . I got up at six o'clock so I could be at my patrol post on time."<BR><BR> Marcie leans forward and says, "I'm so sleepy . . . I don't think I can stay awake much . . ."<BR><BR> Marcie says, ". . .Longer . . ." and falls asleep. Peppermint Patty smiles.<BR><BR>
Yes, Patty’s grin in last panel is PRICELESS, as if to say, perhaps,“Well! How the tables are TURNING, for once!”(referring to the fact that, unlike usual and for once, she is NOT the one to fall asleep in school; MARCIE is!)
