Snoopy sits atop his doghouse holding a sheet of paper. He thinks,"If you look at the calendar too much, it'll drive you crazy." He tosses the paper aside.

He lies on his back and thinks,"Today is Father's Day...I loved my dad... I think about him a lot...."

Only the head of Snoopy is shown and it is wearing a huge grin. He thinks,"He was the one who taught us the ol' cheshire cat trick.." Only the grin remains and he thinks,"You just gradually fade until only your grin is left."

He lies on his stomach looking over the edge. He thinks,"One day dad actually did disappear...we never knew where he went....that's the trouble with being a dog...they never tell you anything..."

He sits up and thinks,"Now our family is scattered all over....Spike's in Needles...Belle's in Kansas city..."

He lies on his stomach and thinks,"I don't know where any of the others are...." He sits up and spreads his hands and thinks,"Anyway, dad, Happy Father's Day wherever you are!" He sits quietly.

He lies on his back and thinks,"Rats!"
