Marcie and Peppermint Patty sit at their school desks. Peppermint Patty shakes a binder and says, "No, ma'am, my report isn't ready . . It fell out of my binder . . ."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty opens the binder and says, "The rings wouldn't close so I took it back to the dealer . . ."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty continues, "He said the rings needed to be replaced, and he'd have to write to the manufacturer and it would take two weeks to get spare parts . . ."<BR><BR> Marcie exclaims, "Good going, sir . . That was the best excuse I've ever heard!" Peppermint Patty smiles.<BR><BR>
She should have gotten a loaner report to turn in while her binder was in the shop.
