Charlie Brown stands on the snow-covered pitcher's mound. He says,"It was the ninth inning..."<BR><BR> He turns to his right and continues,"I think they had a man on second..."<BR><BR> He stares at the reader as Lucy approaches and asks,"What are you doing out here, Charlie Brown?"<BR><BR> She stares at the reader as he spreads his hands and replies,"Just standing on the pitcher's mound...sort of thinking about last season...you know, reliving old memories..."<BR><BR> He continues,"You should try it...go stand out in right field, and relive some of your old memories..."<BR><BR> He watches her walk off.<BR><BR> She stands on the snow-covered field and shouts,"Hey, pitcher! Get the ball over the plate! Don't walk this guy!!"<BR><BR> She continues,"Let him hit it! What do you think we're out here for, our health?!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown grimaces and concludes,"I love those old memories!"<BR><BR>
Then, Lucy dropped the snowball.
