She thinks,"Once a year...just once a year..."

She turns to her left and sings out,"Charlie Brownnn..."

He walks up to her as she places the ball on the ground in preparations for a kick. She exclaims,"Charlie Brown, I'll hold the ball, and you come running up and kick it!"

He replies,"Sure! Sure I will! You must think I'm really stupid!"

He frowns to the reader as Lucy says,"Please, Charlie Brown...I look forward to this special moment all year..."

He walks off saying,"I suppose if someone looks forward to something, it's wrong to spoil it..."

He runs back the way he came and exclaims,"This year I'm gonna kick that ball clear to bullhead city!"

As he goes to kick the ball, she moves it away and he flips up into the air with a scream. He lands with a WHAM on his back.

As he lies on the ground in pain and in a daze, she turns to the reader and says,"How depressing...you look forward all year to a special moment, and before you know it, it's over!"

She walks off with the ball in tow and concludes,"It's so depressing" He lifts his head up and exclaims,"I can't stand it!"
