Woodstock looks over the edge of the nest at the snow-covered grass below.<BR><BR> He jumps down into the snow.<BR><BR> Lucy looks out the house and says, "It snowed again last night..."<BR><BR> Linus stands and watches her looking out the window. She says, "Those birds look hungry..."<BR><BR> Linus stands on a chair next to the table in the kitchen. He is fixing food. He says, "I'm fixing up a batch of bread crumbs...."<BR><BR> Lucy continues to stand and look out the window.<BR><BR> She turns to her right and says, "Maybe you'd better bring some napkins, too...."<BR><BR> Woodstock and his friends are sitting at a picnic table in the snow.<BR><BR>
This was adapted in the 2016 Peanuts TV series episode “Woodstock”. However, in the series, Woodstock and the Beagle Scouts are protesting getting burnt bread. Lucy remarked, “Those birds look hungry….and not very happy.”
