Peppermint Patty stares straight ahead and exclaims, "Report card day?!"

She holds the report at arm's length and puts her hand to one of her closed eyes. She says, "I don't wanna look."

As she leaves the school with Marcie walking down the steps onto the lane, she looks at the report and exclaims, "D-minus! Good Grief! I got a D-minus in every subject!"

They stop and she continues to look at the report. She continues, "And look what she wrote on the back....she said I'm not very cute!"

Marcie watches as she kicks the report and continues, "What does she mean, I'm not cute? Just because I've got a big nose and mousy-blah hair, doesn't mean I'm not cute!"

As Marcie bends over to pick up the report, Peppermint Patty turns away and says, "My dad thinks I'm cute! Every day when I was little, he'd say how cute I was..."

She turns to Marcie as the latter reads the report and says, "She says your attention span is not very acute..."

They walk down the lane pass the wall. Peppermint Patty holds the card in her hand and says, "It's gonna be a long summer" Marcie replies, "You're weird, sir"
