Charlie Brown says, "If you get on this time, Lucy, see if you can steal second base . ."<BR><BR> Lucy holds the bat and says, "How will I know it's second base? Does it have a number on it? What if I steal ninth base by mistake?"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown replies, "It's funny . . That's one of those things a manager never thinks about . ."<BR><BR>
Most baseball managers don’t know that if a player rounds the bases twice during an inside-the-park home run, it counts as two runs.
(The main reason they don’t know it is that it’s not true.)
